Live Showcases

  • The song entries received through the Open Call Submission will be curated and 30-40 song entries will be selected to be showcased via public live performances.

Masterclasses

  • 10-12 songs from the Live showcases will be selected for our Finale Concert, the songwriters of these songs will also be sent to attend our masterclasses helmed by established, renowned songwriters.

Finale Concert

  • Songwriters could improvise on their song (should they wish to) for their final presentation at the Finale Concert.
  • Awards will be presented at the end of the Finale Concert as recognition for the most outstanding songs throughout the entire Festival.

“I Write The Songs” Sharing Sessions

In order to introduce the local Mando-pop scene and SG:SW2017, we will be organizing these sharing sessions at schools and in public. Through these sessions, participants will find out about the evolution of the mando-pop, from local to regional scene. Local singer-songwriters will also be on site to share their original works and music inspiration.

Through these sessions, we hope to inspire and motivate participants to “Write The Songs”
